Privacy Policy
Last updated: . The short version: we collect only what we need to build your site and answer your questions. We don’t sell your data. We don’t run ad-tracking on this site.
What we collect.
When you fill out the intake form, we collect the information you provide: business name, contact details, hours, services, address, photos, logo, links to social profiles, and any notes you add. We also collect the timestamp of your submission and your PayPal transaction reference once payment clears.
When you email us, we keep the email and any attachments you send so we can respond and reference the conversation later.
We do not use analytics services like Google Analytics on this site. We do not embed third-party trackers, pixels, or advertising code.
How we use it.
Your intake information is used solely to build your website, communicate about your order, register your domain, and process renewals. Payment information (credit or debit card details) is handled by PayPal — we never see or store it.
Who sees it.
Only the person building your site. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties. The only exception is when we register your domain (your business name, address, and email are required by domain registrars, and this information may appear in public WHOIS records unless you enable private WHOIS, which we set on by default whenever possible).
How long we keep it.
Intake data and photos are kept for as long as you are a customer, plus one year after cancellation, so we can help you if you come back. If you’d like everything deleted sooner, email us and we’ll remove it within 30 days.
Cookies.
This site uses one small technical cookie to remember whether you’ve dismissed the mobile menu. That’s it. No tracking cookies, no ad cookies.
Your rights.
You can ask for a copy of what we have about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete your data. Email andy@getlocalonline.com.
Third-party services we use.
- PayPal — payment processing (their privacy policy).
- Domain registrar and hosting provider — required to run your website.
- Google Fonts — used to serve typography on this site.
Changes to this policy.
If we update this policy, we’ll post the change here with a new “last updated” date. Anything material — we’ll email active customers.
