The kinds of businesses we love building for.
You don’t need to fit one of these categories exactly — if you’re local and you serve real customers, we can build for you. But these are the businesses SE Ohio does best.
Cabin & lodge rentals
Whether you rent one cabin or a dozen. Photo-forward, booking links to your existing Airbnb, Vrbo, or your own reservation system.
Outfitters & adventure
Canoe & kayak liveries, zip lines, guided hikes, horseback rides, ATV tours. Seasonal hours, trip descriptions, group rates.
Restaurants & diners
Menu, hours, phone, and directions — the four things travelers pull up before they drive in. Order-online link if you have one.
Coffee shops & bakeries
Simple, warm, mobile-first — because someone’s deciding whether to stop while their kids ask “is it far” from the back seat.
Wineries, meaderies, breweries
Tasting room hours, tour info, event calendar link, and directions from the parkway or interstate.
Farm stands & markets
Seasonal availability, what’s in this week, farm-tour info, CSA sign-up link.
Main Street retail
Antique shops, gift stores, general stores. Photos of the shop, hours, story of the place, directions.
Home services & trades
Plumbers, electricians, HVAC, landscapers, roofers. Big phone number, service area, honest testimonials.
Beauty, barber, wellness
Services and prices, booking link to Booksy or Square, photos of the space, hours.
Straight answer: we want SE Ohio testimonials.
Get Local Online is new. We build clean, honest websites for $100 flat — and rather than run ads, we’re seeding ten free builds across Southeast Ohio in exchange for one thing: if you love yours, tell a neighbor.
No small print. No “free trial” that starts billing you. No signing you up for a subscription. We build your site, register your domain, host it for a year — and if you want to keep it going after that, renewal is $50/year. If you don’t, no hard feelings.
First 10 businesses only. Once the ten slots are filled, the code stops working and any new orders go through at the regular $100 price.
A real website — not a Facebook post.
Facebook is great for a lot of things, but it isn’t a website. Google can’t reliably index it, tourists can’t always see your hours, and you don’t own any of it. A real website solves those problems for a hundred bucks — or free, in this case.
- Custom-designed homepage
- Your logo (or we make a text one)
- Services or menu
- Hours of operation
- Address + embedded map
- Phone (click-to-call on mobile)
- Photo gallery
- Contact form
- Social links
- Mobile-responsive
- Fast page load, SEO basics
- Domain name (.com preferred)
- Full year of hosting
- SSL certificate (the padlock)
- Google Search-ready
- Your own — we hand you the keys
Straight answers.
I already have a Facebook page. Why do I need a website?
Facebook is great for regulars who already follow you. A website is for the traveler on Route 33 googling “breakfast near Hocking Hills” at 8:47 a.m. Facebook doesn’t show up in Google searches the same way. Your own site does. And you own it — Facebook can change the rules on you any time.
What’s the catch?
None. If you’re one of the first 10 to redeem code HOCKING, we build your site, register your domain, and host it for a year — free. Year two is $50 if you want to keep it going. Otherwise the site comes down and we part ways with no drama.
How does the code work?
Click the button on this page, fill out the form, and type HOCKING in the “Have a promo code?” field. Once ten businesses claim theirs, the code stops working automatically — first come, first served.
How long does it take?
Three business days from when you submit. Rush 24-hour is available as an add-on, but honestly, three days is fast.
What if I don’t have great photos?
Check the box on the form that says we should use tasteful stock photos matched to your industry. This is very normal — a lot of small businesses launch this way and add their own photos later.
Do you understand small town / seasonal business?
Yes. The intake form has fields for seasonal hours, “open by appointment,” and “hours vary — call ahead” so nobody shows up at your farm stand in February expecting sweet corn.
Can you help me get on Google Maps?
Setting up a website is step one — Google needs a page to point to. We’ll include a link section for your Google Business Profile and can walk you through claiming it if you haven’t yet.
Where are you actually based?
Get Local Online is US-based and every site is built by a real person. If we’re not local to your town, we’ve made sure the intake form covers everything we’d need to understand the business — but we’re a quick email away for anything specific.
Ready to claim your free build?
Fill in the details, drop code HOCKING in the promo field, and you’re done. Live in three business days. First ten only.
