A real website for your local business.
Friendly, modern websites for restaurants, shops, and services on Main Street. You answer a few easy questions, we build it, you approve it. First draft in three business days.
Three easy steps. No tech skills needed.
If you can answer questions about your own business, you can do this. We handle everything technical.
Answer a few questions.
One question at a time — your business, your hours, what you’re proud of. Skip anything you’re unsure about. Takes most people about 15 minutes.
We build your site.
We write the words and design every page. Within three business days you get a link to your draft. Need it faster? Rush 24-hour delivery is available.
You approve. It goes live.
Small tweaks are on us. Once you’re happy, we connect your domain, turn on hosting, and hand you the keys.
Point at one and say, “I want it like that.”
Six example builds across the kinds of businesses we work with. Click any of them to see the full site — every layout is a real, working website, not a screenshot.

Everything a small business site actually needs.
No feature bloat. No template picker. No monthly “builder” subscription. Just a real, well-designed site that does its job — the way a hand-painted sign on a good storefront does.

An honest list of what we don’t build for $100.
We’ll be upfront: this package doesn’t include everything under the sun. If you need something more complex, we’ll say so — and often point you at the right tool instead of selling you one.
- Not an online store — no shopping cart, no product catalog, no Shopify
- Not a booking system — we’ll link to your existing Calendly, OpenTable, Square, etc.
- Not a member portal or customer login
- Not a blog platform (though we can add one — ask)
- Not ongoing marketing or SEO consulting
- Not a redesign of a huge existing site
One-time. Includes one available standard-registration domain and first year of hosting. First draft in 3 business days.
After year one: $50/year to keep it online, which also includes up to 30 minutes of edits every year (hours, prices, phone, address).
Only what you actually need.
Everything below is optional. Most businesses don’t need any of it — the $100 build stands on its own.
| Add-on | Price |
|---|---|
| Extra page Beyond home, about & contact — full menu, dedicated gallery page, team, etc. | $15 each |
| Standalone wordmark logo files Separate logo files for cards and social profiles | $20 |
| Rush delivery First draft within 24 hours | $50 |
What people ask before they buy.
What if I don’t like the first draft?
You get one free round of changes, no questions asked. If after that you still hate it, we refund your money. We’d rather part on good terms than argue.
What if I already own a domain?
Great — we’ll use it. The price is $100 either way. We’ll walk you through updating your DNS so the domain points to your new site (takes about 10 minutes).
What happens after year one?
To keep your site online you renew for $50/year. That covers the domain, hosting, SSL certificate, and up to 30 minutes of edits (updating hours, prices, phone number, swapping a photo). Bigger changes get quoted separately at fair rates.
Do I own the site?
Yes. It’s your domain and your files. If you ever want to move to another host or hand it off to a nephew who does web design, we hand over everything with no drama.
Can I sell things online?
Not through this package. If you need a real online store, you’re better off with Shopify or Square Online — we’re happy to say that. What we can do is put a big “Order online” button that links to your existing DoorDash, Toast, or Square site.
How do I pay?
PayPal or Zelle — you choose at the end of the Get Started form. PayPal checkout may also let you pay with a debit or credit card without a PayPal account (PayPal decides eligibility). Pick Zelle and we’ll email you the payment details. Either way, your answers are saved first, and the build starts once payment is confirmed.
Who runs Get Local Online?
Get Local Online is a service of Scout Theory LLC, an Ohio company. The service is founder-run, and each site is built and reviewed directly rather than passed through a sales agency or template mill.
Can you help me with Google, Yelp, or social media?
We can point you in the right direction and set up the links, but ongoing marketing isn’t part of this package. If you want a specialist, we’ll happily recommend one.
